LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION...

Let's face it, to the angler, location is only everything. Being in the right place can mean the difference between catching fish, or hearing about it from the guy that did. Our location is as perfect as can be for hitting the water in search of big fish! Located near the city of Cadillac in northwest Michigan, we are literally surrounded by thousands of miles of rivers and streams, many considered to be the best in the entire country.
Whether you're chasing migratory Steelhead or Salmon, or looking for resident Browns, Rainbows, or Brookies, we've got a place just for you. We not only call world famous rivers like the Manistee, Pere Marquette, AuSable, and Muskegon our office, more importantly we call them HOME.
Once you are on the river, you can be assured that our years of experience on these waters will have you in your best position to catch these great fish. We'd love nothing more than arranging a trip to show you this breathtaking location God has so richly blessed us with.
We are a 45 minute drive from Traverse City, MI, 1 1/2 hr. drive from Grand Rapids, MI, 3 hr. drive from Detroit, 3 1/2 hr. drive from Toledo, OH, and 4 1/2 hr. drive from Chicago.

We are licensed, insured, and commercially permitted in the Huron-Manistee National Forest.
Our guided trips are done out of the comfort of river boats specifically built for this region of the country. They perform remarkably well on the local waters.
Our day trips generally give you 7-8 hours on the water. Start times vary depending on time of year, fish we will be targeting, and/or techniques we will be using.

We can supply all of the equipment for the day. Please don't feel like you need to go purchase hundreds of dollars worth of equipment to come fishing with us. In fact, we encourage people to not do that and try a day or three on the river with us to see if this is really something they are going to enjoy (....we promise you will!!). We use, endorse, and are sponsored by the finest equipment on the market today; equipment we rely on everyday on the water.

COST OF THE TRIP...

The cost for a fully guided float trip with Ultimate Outfitters is $350/day (one or two anglers). *

This includes all equipment usage for the day and all flies/bait/tackle.

Does not include Michigan fishing license or guide gratuity.
*Food and beverages are the responsibility of the anglers.
**Due to insurance and federal permit regulations, no alcohol is allowed on guide trips.

We require a $150 deposit which is nonrefundable.
While the general policy with most guide services is to not transfer the deposit, we will make every attempt to work with unforeseen circumstances and/or emergencies to move the deposit to a different day if need be.
Obviously, it's in our best interest for you to have the best possible day you can!
